Treatment of Xiajiadian Gold Mine with Environment-friendly Reagent Jinchan as a Substitute for Sodium Cyanide

Environmental-friendly reagent Jinchan was used as a substitute for sodium cyanide to treat Xiajiadian gold mine,and the leaching effect of Jinchan and sodium cyanide was compared.The results showed that the leaching rate of Jinchan and sodium cyanide was 88.55% and 88.73% respectively,which was basically the same when the dosage of reagents was 200 g/t;When Jinchan dosage was 300 g/t,the leaching rate of 89.87% could be obtained,which was obviously better than the leaching effect of sodium cyanide under the optimal conditions;When using Jinchan,the adsorption and desorption effects were the same as that of sodium cyanide,with gold desorption rate of 98.99% and 98.97%, respectively;Jinchan as a substitute for sodium cyanide,could significantly improve technical and economic indicators,and moreover,in view of the non-toxicity of Jinchan,the invisible benefits of transportation,management,environmental protection and safety also would be obtained.

Africa is the most important gold producing area in the world,and one of the hot spots to attract gold exploration investment as well.Based on the systematic collection and processing of the advances of the previous research on typical gold deposits and regional metallogenesis in the African continent,the spatial and temporal distribution of gold deposits in the African continent is summarized briefly in this article,which made the achievements below.The African continent consists mainly of four ancient cratons (i.e.Kalahari Craton,West Africa Craton,Congo Craton,and Sahara Meta-Craton) and Neoproterozoic orogenic belts developed around these cratons,as well as some Mesozoic basins developed on the cratons.The gold deposits predominantly occur in the ancient craton,especially in the Kalahari Craton in southern Africa and West African Craton in north-western Africa,where are the world famous gold producing areas.A small proportion of gold deposits are distributed in the Neoproterozoic orogenic belts,such as the Nubian Shield,and other Pan-African orogenic belts.There are many types of gold deposits in African,including conglomerate,orogenic,VMS,intrusion-related,porphyry,epithermal and IOCG types,with the former two being the most important types.The ore-forming age of gold deposits in Africa is mainly concentrated in three periods,i.e.Archean,Paleoproterozoic and Neoproterozoic.The enrichment of huge-sized conglomerate-type gold deposits in the Witwatersrand Basin of South Africa may be mainly related to their paleo-sedimentary environment,i.e.the alluvial braided river plain,while the gold enrichment in West African Craton,as the most important Paleoproterozoic gold region in the world,mainly attributes to the large amount of carbonaceous in the strata.Although many world-class gold deposits have been found in the African continent,their prospecting potential remains significant,especially in the search for orogenic gold deposits,as both the ancient craton and the Neoproterozoic orogenic belt occurring around the craton are favorable tectonic environments for the formation of orogenic gold deposits.For the gold exploration in the African continent,it is suggested that not only pay much attention to the deep prospecting of discovered gold deposits,but also to searching for the semi-buried and buried deposits,especially in the shallow covered areas of West African Craton and Congo Craton.By means of advanced geophysical,geochemical and remote sensing,the breakthrough of gold prospecting is expected.

Locating in the center of the Jiamusi block,the Shuanyashan gold mine is a typical skarn deposit.Geologic data from exploration and mining demonstrated that the distribution of deposit bodies is strongly controlled by skamization and fracturing.Gold—content analyses of the country rocks indicated that the gold element resourced from migmatization of basic—andesitic volcanic rocks.The migmatic fluid,which contained higher Au—complex—compound,flows along fractures or bedding faces.When contacted with carbonatite,skarnization occulted decreasing the pH value of
the Au—bearing fluid,leading the gold depositing from the Au—complex.The major Au—bearing mineral is Al~enopyrite(FeAsS)with minor other sulfides,suggesting the complex anion of the Au—complex may be[AsS3].

Through the REE geochemical characteristics research of the rocks and minerals which have different types in Ganjiaxiang lead-zinc mining area,Jiangsu Province,the REE geochemical behavior of rocks and ores were investigated.And the results show that the distributions of REE in ore deposit are consistent.Overall,the total REE is relatively enriched in Lead-zinc ore,basal conglomerate and siltstone.On the REE patterns,LREE are enriched,and the curve tilts to the right slowly.In addition,the enrichment degree of LREE would be reduced with its atomic number increasing,but the HREE is relatively stable.REE geochemistry characteristics indicates that the Ganjiaxiang lead-zinc mining is a medium-low-temperature hydrothermal deposit which controlled by the F2 fault and unconformity.

Based on the ore—forming conditions,ore vein characteristics,orebody characteristics and wallrock alteration,of the shallow ore—deposits about No.171 vein gold deposit in Dongfeng mining area,we discuss and summarize the genesis of Ore-deposit and the metallogenic regularity,combined with No.171 gold field,the data of mineralization projections and the current exploration results about some simi lar ore—depo sits at home an d abroad,then predict the resources of the deep Ore body.By actual exploration,we found a large gold deposit,it have some si ficance to china's deep blind ore prospecting.

Jiaolai basin is a Diwa basin which formatted at Mesozoic.The form ation and evolution of this basin is con.trolled by Yishu fault zone and Wulian—Jimo—Mouping fault zone.In recent years,we discoveres six gold deposits,such as Pengjiakuang,Liaoshang,Tudui,Songjiagou,Dazhuangzi,Xilaokou,and SO on on the border of the basin.This year ,we find Dongxiazhuang and Dahuangjia which has the value for further work in City Laiyang.Jiaolai Basin becomes the hot—spot areas of exploration in Jiaodong.By contrasting and analysising about the time of basin form ation and of the times of the main gold deposit in Jiaodong area.we can see that the main mineralization of Jiaodong gold is similar to the strong extending age of Jiaolai basin.,the form ation and evolution of the basin closely related to
the form ation of the gold deposit in Jiaodong.the ore—form ation conditions about the gold deposit in the basin and the gold deposit in Jiaobei uplift are unanimous,than we find the prospecting orientations.

Progress and Prospects of the Preparation of Cementitious Materials Based on Nonferrous Metallurgical Slags

Nonferrous slag,a by-product of the nonferrous metal smelting process,can be used as a replacement for cement in the preparation of cementitious materials,which is a critical way to utilize large amounts of non-ferrous metallurgical solid waste resources.This study systematically analyzed to shed light on the latest research progress and achievements on the cementitious materials mainly prepared with the non-ferrous metallurgical slags both in China and abroad.Particularly,five aspects are emphasized in this paper,which are the composition and structural characteristics of nonferrous slag,potential cementitious properties,the activation method of slag,the preparation methods of cementitious materials,and the performance of its cemented body,respectively.The results showed as below:First,the mineral composition and structures of nonferrous slag differed widely.The crystallization of silicate mineral is almost complete and has high chemical stability,but the content of the vitreous body is lower.Second,the evaluation method of nonferrous slag potential gelling activity and the activity evaluation criteria are inconsistent.Third,the combination of phase modification and compound activation method could effectively improve the gelling activity of nonferrous slag.Fourth,nonferrous slag cementitious materials has good durability and high-temperature resistance and has certain properties of heavy metal solidification.At present,the preparation of cementitious materials based on nonferrous slag is mainly laboratory-based with few examples of large-scale industrial applications.The fundamental reason is that the problem of low and insufficient activity of nonferrous metallurgical slag has not yet been completely solved.As such,changing the structural characteristics of non-ferrous metallurgical slag is the key to overcoming the obstacles to its large-scale industrial utilization.Followed by this,the paper next discussed some important issues involved in the preparation process of cementitious materials and highlights the importance of the establishment of a non-ferrous metallurgical slag cementing system configuration database,the use of molecular research on simulation optimization of activation methods,and the development of simple and efficient activation methods,all in an effort to hasten the expansion of the future industrial application of non-ferrous slag cementitious materials preparation technology.

Pyrite is one of the main Au-carriers in the Zhaishang gold deposit.The pyrite in the rock are fine and strawberry-like or coccus-like,globe-like,cube-like pyrite.The pyrite in the rock are thick and big,mineral form as cube,pyritohedron,xenomorphic granular, small veins.Pyrites of mineralization are poor in iron (Fe)=45.98%,sulfur (S)= 51.69%.S has been replaced by As,Sb,Fe has been replaced by Ni、Ag.The mode of occurrence of Au is self-existent in the pyrites.Au-carriers in the those strawberry-like,cube-like pyrite less than in those pyrites mineral form as cube,pyritohedron,xenomorphic granular,small veins.Au,As has the negative correlation characteristic feature in different pyrite.Those pyrites as overgrowth rim,in the first rim,third rim,fives rims are rich of gold, while in the core,second rim,fourth rim,and sixth rim are poor of gold,the relationship between Au and As is positive correlation.

Discussion on Several Key Problems of the Tanlu Fault

Tanlu fault is a huge fault in eastern China.At present,there are still some key problems concerning the Tanlu fault.One is the length of Tanlu fault.The second is the horizontal slip distance and depth of the Tanlu fault.The third is the formation of Tanlu faults and its activity time.The fourth is whether it is the main controlling factor for the formation of the Jiaodong gold deposit.Based on a large number of geological,geophysical and geochemical results,combining the latest high-precision petroleum seismic exploration in Tanlu fault zone,the restoration of tectonic evolution shows that the rudimentary Tanlu fault occurred in the Mesozoic,mainly in the central orogenic belt of the southern section,and large-scale strike slips occurred in the Cenozoic (45~24 Ma).The horizontal slip distance of the Tanlu fault is about 760 km.Tanlu fault is mainly a reconstructed fault,not the main control structure of the Jiaodong gold deposit.The primary ore-controlling structure of the Jiaodong gold deposit is a central orogenic belt.The formation and evolution of the Tanlu fault is closely related to the formation of many Mesozoic and Cenozoic pull-apart basins in eastern China.This study will provide a new idea for the study of tectonic dynamic environment and mineralization process in eastern China.

The south of Anhui Province is the important area of production associated gold in our coutry.It has been 110 t reserves of rock gold,240 t associated gold.There is 60% in Tongling’s area.Yangtze river metallogentic zone is located in Anhui Province,There are 63% reserves of associated gold in the zone.There are more than 50 associated gold deposits and some rock gold deposits that have been found.We analysis and summary further geological characteristics in this district,and discuss ore prospecting of this area.

The newly-discovered Qianhongquan gold deposit is located in the southern part of the Beishan orogenic belt,but there is a lack of accurate constraints about its metallogenic epoch.In this work,the altered sericite from the ores of this deposit was dated using 40Ar-39Ar.The 40Ar-39Ar plateau and isochron ages of the altered sericite are (250.4±1.0)Ma and (251.3±1.1)Ma,respectively,indicating the ore-forming age is Early Triassic.Previous studies have shown that magma intrusion and mineralization are closely related to the Beishan area.Beishan Mountains at Triassic belonged to a post-collisional geotecture environment.Under the action of post-collision intracontinental extension,massive granitic magma upwelled along the shear zone and provided thermal power and routes for the activation and migration of ore-forming materials,thus creating favorable conditions for large-scale metal mineral metallogenesis in this region.Qianhongquan gold deposit has similar metallogenic epoch and metallogenic geological background as those complex deposits in the southern part of the Beishan orogenic belt.Based on previous research results,it is believed that the Triassic was a period of large-scale metal deposits in Beishan area,and the post-orogenic extending stage was a favorable geotecture background for the occurrence of abundant metal minerals.These facts will constructively guide gold deposit metallogenic mechanism research and gold prospecting in Beishan Mountains,which must be highly valued by geological workers.

The leaching of silver with the environmental effective sodium thiosulfate-potassium ferricyanide-sodium ferrocyanide alternative system has been studied.The thiosulfate leaching system was used to replace the widely-used cyanide.In this new thiosulfate leaching system,the more stable potassium ferricyanide was used to replace the traditional tetra-amine copper as oxidant.The effect of thiosulfate concentration,ratio of ferricyanide to ferrocyanide,pH,and temperature on silver leaching has been investigated.The results showed  that this leaching system was quietly efficient to the dissolution of silver,the silver leaching rate was extremely fast when the ferricyanide acted as oxidation in the initial stage.After the complete consumption of potassium ferricyanide,silver dissolution was driven by oxygen and leaching rate decreased.A high silver leaching rate could be achieved in the case of a slight excess of lixiviant.In the leaching of sulfuric acid residue,leaching conditions were 0.05 M Na2S2O3·5H2O,1 mM  K3Fe(CN)6,at pH=7,the extraction rate of gold and silver were 88% and 92%  respectively after a leaching time of 48 hours.

The 460 gold deposit is located in the Mazhongshan area of Subei County,Jiuquan City,Gansu Province,and its geotectonic position is located in the Huangshan-Hongshishan-Lujing Late Paleozoic intracontinental rift zone of the Xingxingxia-Hanshan microplate,Kazakhstan Plate.The gold mineralization in the region is jointly controlled by tectonic,magmatic rocks,stratigraphy and metamorphism.460 gold deposit is a multi-phase medium-low temperature hydrothermal deposit,the origin of hydrothermal and ore-forming materials mainly come from atmospheric precipitation and ore-bearing wall rocks,mineralogenetic epoch is middle and late variscan,with a large number of gold veins and more than 110 large veins.10 representative gold veins were selected on the basis of previous data and indoor comprehensive research.The metallogenic regularity of gold deposits was summarized,and a prediction model of geochemical primary halo was established by field observation,isotopic geochemistry,inclusions test and primary halo rock geochemical survey.The predicted results show that there may be 21 blind orebodies in the depth of 10 gold veins,the drilling proved that the mine was good.

Liumei gold deposit is located in the northeast of Dapingtianshan stock,Guigang,Guangxi Province.According to mineral composition and pulse cutting relation,the deposit hydrothermal activity process is divided into four stages:(1)quartz-pyrite stage;(2)pyrite arsenopyrite-quartz stage;(3)galena-sphalerite-chalcopyrite-tennantite-ankerite-quartz stage;(4)quartz-ankerite stage.The second stage as the main metal-logenic stage.The main gold carriers are arsenopyrite and pyrite. EPMA analysis shows that Au mainly exists in the form of “invisible” submicroscopic-supermicroscopic inclusion gold.Fluid inclusion test shows that the inclusions in quartz or calcite are mainly gas-liquid two-phase,the average temperature in the main metallogenic stage is about 181 ℃,the average salinity [w(NaCl)] is 9.36%,and the density is 0.946 g/cm3, indicating that the ore-forming fluid is low-temperature,low-salinity,low-density fluid.The hydrogen and oxygen isotopic composition (δD value between -73‰~-57‰,δ18OH2O value between 2.3‰~6.1‰) indicates that the ore-forming fluid may be related to the magmatic hydrothermal fluid and was mixed by meteoric precipitation in the later period.The value of the gold-bearing δ34S is between -0.8‰ and 0.5‰,indicating that the ore-forming material comes from magmatic rock.These features indicate that Liumei gold deposit is very different from typical carlin-type gold deposits,especially it is lack of characteristic of the low temperature carlin-type gold mineral combination (orpiment-realgar-cinnabar),but instead contain more base metals mineral galena-sphalerite-chalcopyrite),so it is closer to related to magmatic activities of distal low temperature hydrothermal deposit.Based on the spatial distribution characteristics of regional ore deposits and rock masses,the metallogenic model of Dapingtianshan magmatic hydrothermal system for porphyry gold and copper deposits (Longtoushan gold deposit),skarn-type silver lead and zinc deposits (Touzha Ag-Pb-Zn deposit) and distal low temperature hydrothermal gold deposits (Liumei gold deposit) is proposed.The model implies that there should be intermediate temperate hydrothermal vein and skarn type silver-lead-zinc deposits deep in Liumei gold deposit and in the direction of Dapingtianshan rock mass.The model of magmatic hydrothermal metallogenic system established in this paper has important guiding significance for similar ore deposits in Dayaoshan area.

Discussion on Geological Features and Genesis of the Eastern Section of East Laozuoshan Gold Ore Belt in Heilongjiang

The eastern section of the east ore belt is the largest gold deposit in Laozuoshan gold deposit region. The ore body is controlled by the NW-trending fractured faults belt. The gold ore body is controlled by the compression and compression-torsion shear brittle and brittle-ductile fault. The ore body exists in tectonic breccia and skarn. It arranges as steep tilt parallel vein, layer and lens shaped. The extension is greater than the extension. The types of orebodies are mainly disseminated. Gold ore bodies exist closely together with arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite. The depth of the ore body is more than 11 km. It is a typical middle or deep orogenic gold deposit. There should be a lot of deep exploration potential without considering the late-forming factors such as erosion. At p resent, the depth of IP sounding is less than 300 m, and drilling depth reaches 500 m. The main ore body doesn’t appear continuously. The ore body controlling faults and skarn zone still tend to descend. The lower part may be the second orebody forming space.

The QX fuel,KF-3 and 11# fuel were investigated on the flotation process in the flotation laboratory of Sanshandao gold mine.The results showed that the consumption of QX fuel is 15 g/t,the flotation recovery achieved on average 95.32%,the tailings grade is 0.10 g/t,and  the average high-grade ore ratio increase to 20.62.These indicators showed that QX fuel was more suitable to the flotation of Sanshandao gold mine.

Mawu gold deposit is similar to the gold deposits of Zhongchuan area with geological characteristics.In quartz reef of the main ore-forming stage of Mawu,δD is -78‰~-98‰,δ18OSMOW is 18.0‰~20.2‰,δOH2O is 0.45‰~8.54‰.It shows that ore-forming fluids is mixture water of the magmatic water,metamorphic water and little atmospheric water,magmatic water and metamorphic water is main,and has a small amount of atmospheric precipitation participated in.In quartz reef of the main ore—form ing stage,compose of δ34S is +7.1‰~+7.9‰,average is+7.65‰,compose of 6 S show smaller change range.It shows the characteristics of form ation of stratum sulfur,ore-forming materials root in the Shujiaba formation.Theregional deep fault of F1 and anticline Mawu common control of Mawu gold deposit’s output,F1 is passage structure for ore materials,interlaminar fracture zones and tensile cranny of anticline Mawu and F1-derived secondary structural system is ore-hosting structure.The upbuilding of ore-controlling tectonic model is very important for next prospecting.

Bilihe gold deposit in Inner Mongolia is located in the northern margin of the North China Craton Paleozoic accretionary zone,which is important area of Sn-Mo mineralazation area in the northern China.Intrusion related to mineralization intruded into the volcanic rocks, is the main ore-forming rock formed in the northern margin of the late Paleozoic active continental North China Craton’s edge of accretionary-collisions transition setting,composed of granodiorite (porphyry) rock(272 to 269 Ma).The main ore bodies as consealed state lie in the granodiorite rock body and the contact zone between the granodiorite and wall rock.Ore grade from the terrane’scenter to its outer gradually depleted.Ores mainly make up of granodiorite porphyry with a large number of sheeted auriferous quartz veins,stockworks and the typical unidirectional solidifition texture(UST) in contact,and a positive correlation with the gold grade.Metal sulphide content of the ore is very low(less than 2%).Alterations are first potassium and silicifiedand second kaolin in the intrusion,and widely illitization propylitization outer.Geochemical Character of Au±Bi±Te±W±As±Sn±Cu±W±Mo is similar to the intrusion-related gold deposits. Ore-bearing  quartz fluid is an aqueous solution containing CO2,with the native homogenization temperature of 430~550 ℃ and less than 380 ℃ and salinity of 0.88%~8.68% NaCl and 12.5%~17.5% NaCl.The study showed that the early ore-forming fluids come from the magma,and have varying degrees of precipitation with the uplift of the mineralization space and the mineralization process.Geochronology studies have shown that the molybdenite Re-Os isochron age of the granodioritic porphyry is 272.7±1.6 Ma,mineralization began in the late of the granodiorite magma.Deposit characteristics show that Bilihe gold deposit conforms to the across Eurasia global intrusion-related gold mineralization,and is a typical representative of the same type gold deposits in China.

of ore vein is similar to NW-NNE trend of wallrock Changcheng and Lixian system,but the scope and intensity of gold mineralization near to SN orNNE trend,this deny that the mineralization and distribution of Changcheng-type gold deposit are controlled by strata of Changcheng and Jixian system.The research realizes that gold mineralization is controlled by the depth of concealed SN-NNE main fault structure,and prospecting work should be deployed according to this concep tion and regularity,focus on search the deeply concealed metallogenic structure and related mineral deposit and orebody.

Many gold deposits have been discovered in Jiao-Lai basin and its periphery.Thema in type of discovered deposits as follows:middle temperature hydrothermalme tasomatic alternation rock type gold deposit controlled by slid dismantled fault (Pengjiakuang in Rushan),middle temperature hydrothermalmetasomatic filled alternation gravel-stone type gold deposit controlled by tectonics (Fayunkuang in Muping),middle temperature hydrothermal-reformed type gold deposit(Dazhuangzi in Pingdu),subvolcanic rock type gold deposit(Qibaoshan in Wulian).Their geneses are discussed.Analyzing their ore geological characteristics,deposit types and genesis,evolving history,we find that they are both similarities and differences,in different tectoniclocation,different ore-forming fluid add in to form different types of gold deposits.On this bases,we hope that it can promote the research of the deposits in Jiao-Lai basin and its periphery,and direct farther prospecting derection.

Chaihulanzi gold mine located in the north-east of Mingshan uplift and arc inside of deep fault which prominent for north,that is,parts of tectonic line mutation of altered rock type gold deposit.there are two gold belt in the mine,located in the anticline axis of overturned secondary folds.Ore type is altered rock and quartz veins mixed type.Orebody produced in alteration schist,and it is controlled by diorite,the grade of orebody has the feature of under poor goes to rich,IP anomalies divided into three zone and eight anomaly zone.Through studies of the metallogenic law of the mine,we determine prospecting model:altered schist+secondary folds+diorite+identify abnormal sounding→target→drilling+pitting,and has a good results in the practice.

Anhui Province lies in juncture place of three classⅠtectonic units as North China plate,Yangtze plate and Dabie orogenic belt.It has long history of movement,complicated and variety geologic process,and great differences between different regions of metallization.Basing on different geotectonic setting,divided the gold metallogic regions of inner Anhui province into four metallogenicbelts,such as Bengbu of north Anhui,Dabieshan,middle and lower Yangtze River and east section of Jiangnan ancient land.It expounds geologic setting of mineralization and main type of ore deposits in metallogenic regions,separately.According to geological characteristics of mineralization,geochemical anomaly of stream sediment in each gold metallogic region,combining with placer information, using GIS system,circled sixteen prospecting prospective areas in different class,among which seven in Class A, five in Class B and four in Class C.

The Shabaoshi gold deposit is located in northearth of the Erguna uplift and the side of the upper Heilongjiang depression. The Shabaoshi gold deposit occurs in Middle Jurassic land facies clastic rock. there are 5 ore veins. The mainly ore types are the altered sandstone. Alteration includes silicification, seficitization, carbonatization. The average grade of gold is 1.00-19.57×10-6. The metallogenic type belongs to the meso-epithermal altered hydrothermal solution type gold deposits. the ore bodies are controlled by SN and NNW trend fault. There is a good prospect exploration for deep of Ⅱ-1 orebodies.

Liyuan gold deposit is located in the tectonic-magmaic-polymetallic metallogenic belt of Taihang Mountain.The outcropping strata are mainly banded gneiss and amphibolite of Neo-Archean Fuping Group. The orebody is generally hand-shaped and mainly occurs in the NNE-trending structural zone.The metal minerals in ore are mainly pyrite,followed by galena,sphalerite and chalcopyrite.The non-metallic minerals are mainly quartz, potassium feldspar, plagioclase and sericite.The precious metal is natural gold (silver-gold ore). The wall-rock alteration closely related to gold mineralization are mainly silicification,sericitization and pyrite mineralization.The formation of the deposit can be divided into two episodes,including hydrothermal episode and epigenetic episode.The hydrothermal episode is the main mineralization period,which can be divided into four stages,namely,quartz silification stage,quartz-pyrite stage,quartz-sulfide stage and quartz-carbonate stage.Based on field geological survey and indoor analysis,the ore-bearing wall-rocks and strutural ore-controlling raw were summarized,the prospecting mark was specified,and the metallogenic process was preliminarily analyzed. It is considered that Liyuan gold deposit belongs to magmatic hydrothermal altered rock type gold deposit controlled by fracture zone.The results provide certain scientific basis for gold prospecting in this area.

Preliminary Study on theMechanism of Gold Recovery Using the Coal Gold Agglomeration Process

In this article, the research status of the coal gold agglomeration (CGA) were introduced and a few major factors affecting coal-gold-oil agglomeration were discussed, such as coal chemistry, oil characteristics, and interaction among hydrophobic particles. Moreover, agitation intensity and contact time were also studied for gold recovery kinetics in CGA process. In the case of the same gold ore and other same conditions, the gold recovery kinetics rate coefficient is constant under the different agitation speed. The coal-oil agglomerateswere found having abilities of gold recovery with collector-free, the gold recoverywas up to 77%~86%. The addition of sodium sulfide (160~260 g/t) can activate the surface of gold particles, increase the gold recovery while the floatability of sulfides in gold pulp slightly decreased.

In order to strengthen the Quxi gold deposit prospecting work in east Hunan Province,we used methods of directions geological survey,structual mapping,deposit(dot) investigation,petrology-geochemistry and remote sensing interpretation to study geological features and ore-controlling factors of the area,and we summarized metallogenic regularity and prospecting of Quxi gold mine,finally established ore-controlling model.Based on the research above,we reach some conlusion as follow:the gold-bearing rock is Lengjiaxi Group which is made of weakly metamorphic siltstone.NNE trending deep faults in the area are thermal conductivity and mineralization channel,the smaller secondary fracture of it and deep fault towards angle which was the rupture of better ore in mining area.Yanshanian monzonitic granites provide some mineral sources for mineralization in Quxi gold deposit.According to the ore-forming regularity and prospecting indicators,three potential targets such as Shaguoli,Jidongkeng and the depth of No.1 lode have been determined in deep mining area and its periphery.By our field survey and research,we think the Shaguoli previous regarded as a gold-antimony deposit,but it is a gold-tungsten deposit.The work and results supply us with next step prospecting ideas in this area.

The Xilaokou gold deposit is located in the east to Guocheng fault.The deposit occurs in the intersection between the Linlong monzonite granite bodies of new Proterozoic Sinian period and the Jinshan stratum of ancient Proterozoic.The ore bodies are controled by NE and nearly EW trend faults.They formed with lens shape and with pyritization,silication and carbonation alternation.Because of the difference of ore-controlling structure and their wall rocks characteristic,the deposit bed types are divided into pyrite sericite-quartz type and multi-metal sulfide type.Its prospecting direction is pointed out.
