The f ractal analysis of gold grades in drill cores f rom the Puziwan cryptoexplosive gold deposit has been done. The fluctuation of gold grade data conforms to the power-law dist ribution which is characterized by the f ractal dimention D. The f ractal dimentions of gold grades in the breccia body increase gradually f rom top to bottom vertically and f rom south to north horizontally.Combining the result of shallow seismic exploration , the occurring locations of ore bodies , the surface st ructure and the st ructural features of the breccia body revealed by drill holes , the relationship between the f ractal dimentions of gold grade and gold grade of the deposit has been discussed. The possible spatial dist ribution regularity of ore bodies has been proposed.

Based on analysis and improvement of some driving methods of raise shaft in medium-and-small mines , this paper int roduces two development methods suitable to raising in medium-and-small mines. Compared with convention methods and supporting methods ,the two int roduced methods have advantages of decreasing timber consumption ,reducing labor inrtensity ,shortening operation of cycle and lowering production cost .
