Experimental Study on Gold Leaching Process of a Gold Mine in Gansu Province

Abstract:

Abstract: The leaching process of a gold mine in Gansu Province was studied by using environment-friendly non-cyanide gold leaching agent combined with all-sliming carbon-in-pulp process.The effect of dissolved oxygen,pulp concentration,pH value,mineral particle size,leaching agent amount,leaching temperature and leaching time on leaching efficiency of gold were investigated in details.The gold content in ore and tailings was determined by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer,and the appropriate gold leaching process conditions were determined by calculating gold leaching rate.Considering the economic cost of process,leaching efficiency and other factors,the results show that the feasible process conditions are as follows:concentration of the pulp is 40%,pH=11~12,leaching agent amount is 300 g/t mineral,leaching temperature is 20~40 ℃,leaching time is 24 h,with water as solvent in open environment.Under these conditions,gold leaching rate reaches 80%.
