Geochemical Anomaly Zoning Model and Prospecting Criteria for Baiyun Gold Deposit in Liaoning Province

Abstract:

Baiyun gold deposit is a large gold deposit located in Qingchengzi ore field of Liaoning Province.The orebodies occurred in the clastic rock of Gaixian Formation of Liaohe Group,controlled by Baiyun EW trending fracture.It is helpful to carry out deep and peripheral prospecting prediction by establishing geochemical anomaly zoning model and summarizing exploration indicators.The content changes of trace elements and hydrocarbon components in difference mid-section and its abnormal distribution characteristics and enrichment regularityaround orebody of Baiyun gold deposit was also summaried.It is concluded that the deposit for the primary halo zoning sequence:Hg、hydrocarbon(front halos) →As、Sb(ore roof halos) →Au、Ag、Cu、Pb、Zn(near to ore halos) →Co、Ni、Mo、Bi、Mn(tail halos).Research shows that it is still has a certain space for prospecting in deep of the Baiyun gold deposit,ore deposit geochemical anomaly zoning model has a certain reference value for looking for the same type deposits on the area.
