Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Marks of Baizhuping Gold Deposit in Hunan Province

Abstract:

Baizhuping gold deposit is located in the west of Baimashan-Longshan uplift belt in central Hunan Province.Ore formation of the deposits are Gaojian Group Tianjing Formation,Sinian Jiangkou Group Changtan set.7 ore-veins which strictly controlled by the fracture zone has been found in the deposit.Gold elements of gold ore mainly exists in the form of native gold.A small amount of microscopic gold in the form of machinery foreign substance or micro-inclusions existed in minerals such as pyrite,arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite.Wall rock alteration is given priority to with silicification,pyritization,times of arsenopyrite,chalcopyrite,chloritization,and sericitization,clay and so on.Wall rock alteration has the phenomenon of zoning.Based on the studies of Baizhuping gold mine geological characteristics,mineralization enrichment regularity of gold deposits,etc.,the ore-prospecting marks were summarized.
