Comparative Study on Ore-forming and Ore-controlling Structures at Ling-long Gold Mine and Jiaojia Gold Mine in Jiaodong Region

Abstract:

 Linglong gold deposit and Jiaojia gold deposit are large gold fields in Jiaodong region.In addition,the Linglong gold field is given priority to with quartz vein type gold deposits and the Jiaojia gold field presents altered rock type gold deposit.Based on a brief overview of regional tectonic background,the two giant ore deposits metallogenic structure were analyzed with emphasis on discussing metallogenic ore-controlling role of Guojiadian mantle branch structure to the two types of ore deposit.The results demonstrated that peripheral detachment beltthe of Guojiadian mantle branch structure developed a series of ductile-brittle shear zone controlling distribution of the two types of ore deposits,while the mineralization type was controlled by the location of the fracture structure and structural properties.Mantle branch structure theory reported that the Jiaodong gold ore-forming material came from the deep.On the basis of the theory,ore body distribution,extension and alteration features of the Linglong and Jiaojia mining area were investigated.Meanwhile,we analyzed the mineralization and speculated deep prospecting direction.
