The Prospecting Effect of Induced Polarization Method in Zhongzhuche Gold Field,Eastern Shandong Province

Abstract:

This study adopted the time domain induced polarization method.On the base of IP measurement in gradient array in Zhongzhuche gold field,Eastern Shandong Province,we evaluated IP anomalies by the IP sounding method in anomalous areas.The position and depth of mines could be estimated by exploration results.We discussed the prospecting effect of the time domain induced polarization method in gold field.After IP measurement in gradient array,based on the apparent charge ability and apparent resistivity contour maps,six high charge ability anomalous areas are discovered.Combining geological survey results,four anomalous areas are selected for vertical IP sounding.Based on the analyzing and interpreting results of IP anomalies and geological condition, the charge ability and resistivity sections are obtained.The positions of potential ore (mineralization) bodies are delineated.By surface and drilling engineering,good prospecting effect has been achieved.The sounding results offered scientific bases for the next surface and drilling works.
