Cip process was applied to extract gold in Beiya iron-gold mine in this study.In order to fully recycling valuable elements,such as gold and silver from cyanide leaching,and reduce gold and silver loss caused by coconut shell charcoal high carbon loss,on the basis of fully research on features of the Norit cylindrical activated carbon in the Netherlands,then We carried out a small test and industrial test.The results demonstrated that the Norit cylindrical activated carbon were better than that of coconut shell charcoal in adsorption and carbon loss rate,etc.The Norit cylindrical activated carbon was used to 2000 t/d and 3 000 t/d dressing plant,and significant effect was obtained,additionally,the gold adsorption rate increased by 0.94%,silver adsorption rate increased by 3.17%,carbon loss reduced by more than 50%,which has created significant benefits for the enterprise.
