Abstract:

In order to achieve the purpose to get,manage and use the multi-source geo-information more efficiently and  scientifically,the design and development of multi-source geo-information system based on “the geological exploration digital resources information system project with Shandong Gold”was studied in this paper.The “C/S” and “B/S” was employed in establishing multi-source geo-information system nested between the local area network client server and WAN Web.Practical modules of multi-source geo-information system was developed,and a complete and strong function of large-scale multi-source geo-information system was made,which not only has the GIS data management,analysis,and other functions,but also achieving functions,such as the multi-source geo-information data real-time interactive,real-time inquiry,information sharing and data exchanging,etc.The combination of the geoscientific research and geographical information system make the acquisition,management and application of multi-source geo-information more efficient and scientific.
