Geological Characteristics and Prospecting of Gold Deposit in Zhakailongba Area,South Bayan Har Orogenic Belt of Qinghai Province

Abstract:

Zhakailongba locates in Hoh Xil-South Bayan Har mountain (gold,antimony,tungsten,tin,rare metal) metallogenic belt,which has superior ore-forming geological condition for gold and antimony ore.According to the advance survey of the gold deposits and attaching regional geological data,metallogenic condition of gold ore in Zhakailongba district is analyzed through the following aspects such as strata,structure,magmatism,metamorphism,geochemical exploration anomaly and so on,and the results show that the development sectons of Qingshuihe Formation(Triassic),secondary fault zone parallolled with regional NW-SE trending deep fault,quartz vein and Au,As,Sb multi-element combination anomaly are favorable mineralization site,this indicates that Zhakailongba area has a good prospects for gold ore.In order to make breakthrough in exploration of gold ore in Zhakailongba area,regional geology and geochemical exploration data should be fully used in future geological exploration,combined with adjustment of working area,and exploration of gold ore in Dela river basin must also be strengthened.
