Abstract:

In recent years,as all kinds of new technologies were applied in the gold prospecting area, more and more geochemical samples requested more accurate measurement method for determination of a weak anomalies. We took effective measures of adding ascorbic acid, increasing solution concentration, bringing a kind technique of seal completely to improve measuring methods of trace gold with the foam plastic adsorption-graphite furnace.Furthermore, it reduced the method detection limit and improved accurate precision of low content geochemical samples. These methods could improve the production efficiency, reduce cost, and injury to persons, achieve good results.

Key words: Graphite furnace atomic absorption, Determination, Sealing dissolved samples, Trace gold
