Seismic reflection prospecting technique has been widely used in exploration of petroleum ,coal and geological engineering,but it is a rare thing in exploration of gold and other kind of metal deposit because of many problems encountered in application Based on a brief introduction of seismic prospecting method and the difference between seismic prospecting for petroleum and that for gold,the key points in every stage which should be pay attention to was presented in applying seism ic exploration in gold deposits and other metal mining area,which include equipment、field work methods and technological process of data proeessing and geologic explanation and so on.Through actual application at Beiya gold deposit in Yunna Province,a perfect result was gotten.This provides US very important geological data for the accurate orientation of concealed deposits.
The first application effects of γ-ray spectrometric survey and the electro-geochemical parameter techniqute show that the two techniques can work well in Jinchang gold ore deposit,which are simple，fast and effective.Both the two techniques can completely apply effective data information on gold ore prospecting to outline the prospecting gold ore mineralized area even the buried gold ore bodies.

Dongbeizhai gold ore,as a low grade arsenic-bearing carbonaceous ore，is a refractory ore.Au recovery is nearly zero by direct cyanidation from ore.The gold concentrate containing A u 18.02 g/t,91.52 recovery can be gained by the process of stage-rinding and carrier flotation.1 arge amount of tailings are discharged.Better results can be obtained by roasting flotation concentrate cyanidation gold extraction process and the recovery of total gold has achieved up to 85.32 .
