Characteristics of Primary Halo and Deep Metallogenic Prediction of K2 Orebody in Xiahaoping Gold Deposit,Henan Province

The K2 oreboby in Xiahaoping gold deposit is controlled by the ring-shaped structure of the edge of Dianfang cryptoexplosion breccia,Xiahaoping K2 deposit behaves the features of magmatic hydrothermal solution.The primary halo feature research of the orebody shows that Au,Ag,Cu,Pb,Zn has good correlation with each other,but the correlation of W,Mo and other elements is poor.Factor analysis reflects characteristics of superposition of multiple metallogenetic superimposition during the ore-forming process.It is calculated that axial element zoning of the primary halos of this deposit is Mo-Au-Cu-As-Bi-W-Ag-Sb-Zn-Pb from top to bottom,there are characteristics of reversed axial zonality with the element of front halo and tail halo superimposed.Results show that the zoning pattern of this K2 orebody is that silver locates under gold,therefore,we predict that it has good metallogenic potential of silver under 478 m elevation.
