Abstract

Zhangjiagou silver deposit is located in the northern margin of North China Craton，and has been a medium-sized deposit resulted from the breakthrough in exploration in latest years，and becomes a significant member of Shaolanghe metallogenic belt.In this contribution，the geology and occurrence modes of silver minerals in ores are discussed.The silver minerals in ores are mainly argentite，secondly freibergite，zinc-tennantite and native silver.The 58.57% of argentite is in pyrite and difficult for dressing，whereas the 22.28% of argentite in galena and sphalerite is much facilitated to separate.In general，the gold ore is refractory ore，it should take other associated elements into account in the flowsheet of ore processing.
