Anomaly Evaluation of 1∶50 000 Stream Sediment Survey in Caoping-Jiujianfang Area,Shaanxi Province

Abstract:

Four comprehensive geochemical anomalies have been delimitated by analyzing 1∶50 000 stream sediment in Caoping area,those are Yangjiayuan anomaly(Hz1),Longtoushan anomaly(Hz2),Caoping anomaly (Hz3) and Sanguandong anomaly(Hz4).Among them,three anomalies are located at the surrounding area of Caoping intrusion,while one is in the intrusion.We focuses on the evaluation of gold capacity of Caoping and Sanguandong anomalies,and redelineate five gold anomalies.Four western gold anomalies are compatible with Xianmagou,Yangnaigou and Wangjiagou mineralization zones,which indicates the anomalies are caused by multiple tectonic fracture zones and ore veins.The anomaly intensity of eastern Au5 is weak,but above it there is a newly discovered gold mineralization vein.The front halo element(Sb) and near-ore element(Au) of Hz3 and Hz4 anomalies spread NW trending,and they are in line with the strata distribution.The last halo element(Mo) is NE trending.The NE and NW trending anomalies intersect at Wangjiagou mineralization zone.Therefore,it is implied that the deep prospecting potential in Wangjiagou region is larger.
