Application of Electro-sorption Geochemical Exploration in Deep Orebody Prediction in Mawan Gold Mining Areas

Abstract:

This paper introduce the principle of the electro-adsorption prospecting method and its application status.By using the electro-adsorption prospecting method,several anomalies were found in Mawan gold mining areas,high stackheterozygosity anomalies are mainly concentrated in south-central of the areas,all elements are in good agreement.In order to verify abnormal,three holes are laid in the work area,in which gold orebody are obvious,with maximum depth more than 1 000 m.Comparative study between the abnormal results and drilling results show that the anomalies of electro-adsorption prospecting method can reflect the deep buried ore bodies better than conventional geochemical methods,which can only reflect the outcropping ore body,indicating that the electrosorption method are more effective in searching for buried ore prospecting than conventional geochemical methods.
