Research on the Methods of Determination of Geochemical Samples by Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry for Fine Disseminated Refractory Gold Deposit

Abstract:

The arsenic and antimony contents in the samples from Jinlongshan and Zhaishang fine-disseminated refractory gold deposit in Qinling area are high.Atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS)is a common method used for determination the contents of arsenic and antimony.However,several problems arise in the conventional AFS analysis, such as dual-channel interference,fluorescence saturation,fluorescence quenching and so on,which make it difficult to obtain accurate results.According to repeated comparison and analysis,we have developed several methods for determination of high-antimony low-arsenic,high-arsenic low-antimony,organic compound contained samples by atomic fluorescence spectrometry,and the results are accuracy and reliability.Our approach is to:the process of determination As,Sb at the same time,the same samples when the arsenic is less than 10 μg/L and antimony values greater than 50 μg/L,we should use single-channel measurement,when the antimony value is less than 1 μg/L,the arsenic values greater than 200 μg/L,we should use single-channel measurement,exists in the samples with higher levels of fluorescence quenching,it should be with diluted solution.AFS-830 atomic fluorescence spectrometer for the automatic injection device,the low concentration samples can be autosampler general,high levels of manual injection sample to ensure that monitor each sample.In order to facilitate high levels of antimony,antimony preferable to the highest point of 50 μg/L,but the arsenic concentration of 200 μg/L,arsenic exceeded the linear range of the time,after determination of standard curve,we overtake the points of 200 μg/L.
