Determination of Main and Minor Components in Iron Ores by X-ray Spectormetry

Abstract:

The samples were made into a glass melting piece at 1 050 ℃ with [m(Li2B4O7)∶m(LiBO2)∶m(LiF)=4.5∶1∶0.4] as flux at a dilution of 1∶30.The elements includingFe、Si、Al、Mg、Ca、Na、K、P in the melting piece were simultaneously determined by X-ray spectrometry.The calibration curve was carried out with the standard samples. Whose determination results obtained by X-ray fluorescence were calibrated with a theoretical a-coefficient.Results obtained by the method were in good accordance with those values determined by chemical methods.Relative standard deviation(n=10)for each component were in the range of 0.43%~5.86%.
