Structural Superimposed Halos and Prospecting Direction of Shanhou-W eishishan Areas in Zhaoyuan-Pingdu Metallogenic Belt

Abstract:

Zhaoyuan-Pingdu metallogenic belt is a base of gold exploration and production in Jiaodong.Large and medium size gold deposits such as Dayingezhuang,Jiangjiayao,Xiadian and Shanhou occur in the belt.Shanhou-Weishishan area have gold metallogenic condition and good prospecting.Through analysing the ore-bearing geological characteristics of Zhaoyuan—Pingdu fault zone and the structural superimposed halos of its south segment,combining field firsthand materials,we conclude metallogenic regularity and put forwaM the prospecting direction.
