The Integrated Geophysical Exploration and Metallogenic Potential in Sharibaotu Gold Deposit,Inner Mongolia

Abstract:

The Sharibaotu Au-Pb-Zn-Cu ore-deposit,located in City Chifeng of Inner Mogolia,is controlled by faults and has obvious altered phenomenon.According to the geological characteristics of Au-Pb-Zn-Cu ore-deposit.by
means,the advanced geophysical exploration methods,such as VLF and EH4,is making system evaluation for ore oecurrences.Th e results of the VLF surveying have been primarily shown an ideal low resistivity zone with the length more than 600 m,induced by the primary mineralizing zone.The results of the EH4 surveying also have been revealed the primary mineralizing zone which is reflected by nearly erective low resistivity belt go deep into from 400 m to 600 m.The geological and geophysical research rusuh indicate an ideal and great ore-forming prospect in the Sharibaotu deposit.
