Discussion on the Anomaly Characteristics of Lashuixia Cu-Ni Deposit in Qinghai by Geogas and Mercury Gas Measurement

Abstract:

Lashuix ia Cu-Ni deposit is located in the middle of Riyue Mountain-Hualong new proterozoic mass if which is the southw estern margin of Qin-Qi-Kun orogenic belt.Host stratum is a set of intermediate and advanced level metamorphic rock of Hualong group, which mainly included biotite plagioclase gneiss and horn blendic schist.Because the mining field is covered by strata, about 50~150 m thickness, purplishred conglomerate and clay rock and so on in paleogene-neogene Xining group. In this area, it is difficult to play a role by using conventional mineral exploration method. Eleven anomalies have been found in this mining area recently by 1∶5 000 geogas and mercury gasmeasurement detailed investigation. Preliminary,Ⅰ anomaly and Ⅲ anomaly have a great prospecting significance. These results show that geogas and mercury gas measurement has a certain referential significance for finding concealed ore-beds.
