Abstract:

(U—Th)／He dating method is a new radiogenic isotope dating method rapidly developed in recent years，which has been applied widely in the research field of basic geology．At first，we simply present the(U—Th)／He dating principle and summarize its technique development and application results in geological research．Furthermore，we discuss the feasibility of(U—Th)／He dating in determining the forming age of nonmetallic—metallic ore deposit，the succeeding alteration and unroofing age of metallic ore deposit
