Abstract:

The Dongan gold deposit is an epithermal type gold deposit related to volcano-meta volcanic rock. There develops a typical epithermal mineral association in the deposit, which consists of electrum, native silver, argen tite, pyrite, arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, etc. The alterations are mainly secondary quartzitization, adulariazation, silicification, sericitization, chloritization, pelitization, chalcedonization, fluoritization, etc. mineral inclusion studies show that the main ore-forming process occurred in the temperture range of 300~200 m. The primary ore-forming depth is 0.2-1.0 km.

Key words: alterative mineral character, epithermal type gold deposit, Donan
