The Research on The Geological Feature and Mineralization Age of Xiejiagou Gold Deposit In Jiaodong Area

Abstract:

The research on the geological feature and mineralization age of Xiejiagou gold deposit,shows that Au is mostly included in pyrite, chalcopyrite, etc. in the pattern of fine grain. The ores are strongly sericitized and silicified, and there is often potassic alteration of different degree. Therefore, it is a classic fracture- altered rock- type gold deposi.t The result of systematic K- Ar age measurement on rocks of the gold deposit, indicates that the mineralization age of Xiejiagou gold deposit is 105-130 Ma which is in accordance with the common Au- mineralization age of Jiaodong area. We can think that they are the result of the same magmatic event .The mineralization age is same as the rock- forming age of Guojialing granite, so there is maybe genetic relation between Au- mineralization and Guojialing granite.
