Gold Extraction From a Refractory Concentrate Containing High As

Abstract:

An invented process for gold extraction from an arsenic refractory concentrate was proposed and investigated.The concentrate contained high arsenic as 22%.This concentrate was pre-treated under oxygen pressures with HNO3 as catalyzer in HSO4 solutions.The factors that affected on the pre-treating process were tested,and the optimum technologic conditions were determined.A gold extractive technology was proposed to deal this concentrate. 94%~96% extraction was achieved under optimized conditions in laboratory tests.
