PRELIMINARY APPLICATION OF REFLECTION WAVE SEISMIC EXPLORATION METHOD IN DEEP PROGNOSIS OF PUZIWAN GOLD DEPOSIT, SHANXI

Abstract:

Taking the deep prognosis of Puziwan gold deposit, Shanxi as an example, the paper concisely presents the principle and operating procedure of the reflection wave seismic exploration method. After interpretating the geological content of the acquired seismic data, the authors ravel the deep occurrence of gold-bearing breccia body. Incombination with other geological, geochemical and geophysical evidence, the deep favorable metallogenic structural positions are confirmed. By preliminary drilling test, a better prospecting effect has been achieved.
