GEOLOGICAL FEATURES OF LOWER EOPALEOZOIC MARINE VOLCANIC ROCK ZONE AND ANALYSIS
ABOUT THE PROSPECTS OF OREFINDING AROUND THE CHAIDAMU BASIN

Abstract:

The Chaidamu Basin and the surrounding region locate in the center of the west china ,and the geotectonic position is lying on the active margin of the Proterozoic TaLi Muplate ,andexperienced it s structure magma evolution from proterozoic to today , and form the complicated frame of structure and abundant mineral resource surrounding the Chaidamu Basin. The eopaleozoic marine volcanic activities formed the structure of volcanic sedimentary green rock ,and the volcano constructing by the tholeiite is the major type , which provide abundance resources and favorable environment of structure for formin the varieties of nonferrous metal ore deposit and superimposition enrichment of ore-forming materials surrounding the Chaidamu Basin .
