Abstract:

Cyanide leaching of a copper-bearing gold sulfide concentrate using oxygen was investigated. Some factors affected on cyanidation of gold in the concentrate, such as the dissolved copper, the concentration of oxygen in pulp and the initial cyanide concentration, were discussed.A technical scheme for processing the Cu bearing concentrate and optimized operating conditions were proposed.

Key words: cyanidation, copper-bearing gold concentrate, oxygen
