Based on the Monte Carlo Simulation of the Polymetallic Ore’s Cut-off Grade Dynamic Optimization Management

Abstract:

In order to make full use of mineral resources and improve the economic and social benefits of the polymetallic intergrowth mining enterprises,a new method to measure the cutoff grade,by adopting the mathematical method of Monte Carlo simulation with combination of computer technologies,has been proposed, and the implementation process has been described briefly.Based on the systematical research of the input parameters during mining production,the relevant mathematical model is established,and finally a set of dynamic optimization management system of polymetallic cutoff grade is developed by using SQL Server 2008 database software and .NET 4.0 software development platform.According to the application of this system at some polymetaclic mine,a dynamic management of the technical-economic indicators and the production costs in the mine is realized,and furthermore,the optimal cutoff grade of the mine is obtained.
