Effect of Roasting-Acid Leaching on Gold and Silver Leaching Rate of Gold Concentrate Containing Copper

Abstract:

Roasting-acid leaching-cyanide leaching process was used to treat a gold concentrate containing copper.According to the low leaching rate of gold and silver,the technological conditions were optimized.The effects of roasting temperature,roasting time,acid leaching acidity,acid leaching time and mineral particle size on leaching rate of gold and silver were investigated by single factor comparative test.The results showed that under the conditions of roasting temperature of 650 ℃,roasting time was 1 h,acid dipping acidity was 25 g/L,acid leaching time was 1 h and -0.074 mm content was 90%,the leaching rate of gold and silver reached 97.13% and 67.56% respectively,the leaching rate of gold and silver increased by 6.87% and 14.80% respectively,better technological indexes had been obtained.
