Structural Characteristics and Mineralization of Xuejiping Porphyry Copper Deposit in Northwest Yunnan

滇西北雪鸡坪斑岩铜矿床位于义敦—中甸岛弧带的南段,属区内印支期斑岩成岩成矿作用的典型矿床之一。对雪鸡坪铜矿床控矿构造特征进行了系统梳理与分析研究,结果表明矿体的产出形态受NW-NNW向断裂及褶皱的严格控制,矿体形成与印支期构造—岩浆活动关系密切。含矿斑岩中节理(裂隙)较为发育,并发育有大量的黄铁矿±黄铜矿+石英脉体充填,黄铁矿和黄铜矿等金属硫化物主要沿节理(裂隙)发育形成大量的细脉、细网脉体,黄铁矿化的发育强度与岩体中裂隙的发育程度密切相关。另外,对雪鸡坪铜矿区灰岩地层的有效圈定表明,灰岩与石英闪长玢岩呈侵入接触关系,加之区内广泛的岩浆热液活动,具备矽卡岩矿体形成的基本条件,为该区下一步找矿勘查工作提供了科学依据。

Xuejiping copper deposit is located in the southern part of Yidun-Zhongdian arc belt,which is a typical deposit of porphyry mineralization in the Indosinian period.The ore-control structural characteristics of Xuejiping copper deposit was systematically analyzed,which shown the orebody’s outputting is strictly controlled by the NW-NNW fracture and fold structure and the formation of ore is closely related to the Indosinian tectonic-magmatic activities.The joints (fissure) are more developed and have a lot of pyrite± chalcopyrite+quartz vein filling in ore-bearing porphyry.Metal sulfides such as pyrite and chalcopyrite are mainly filled along the joint (fissure) to form a large number of metal sulfide veins and fine veins,which shown that there is a close relationship between the developmental intensity of pyrite and the development of cracks in the rock mass.In addition,the effective delineation of limestone strata in Xuejiping mine area indicates that intrusive contact between limestone and quartz diorite porphyrite.Coupled with the extensive magmatic hydrothermal activity in the region,it should be believed that the basic conditions of skarn orebody formed,the results and provide a scientific basis for the mineral exploration.
